We had a wonderful vaction but, as always, it good to be home. I have a 3 mile long to do list and I only managed to cross 4 things off it today. BUT, I did get my photos all proofed so I would have something to show you. THe weather was in mid 80’s the first half of our trip and in the 20’s by the time we came home. We were able to stay with my cousin Patty and her family both on our way to DC and on our way home from DC and …We stayed with some friends in DC. They both made our trip beyond perfect and I can not thank them enough for making us feel so at home!!
My kids were NOT into photos at all..they moaned and groaned every time I suggested a photo by “something” so I took a lot of photos of the DC area. The sky was SO BLUE and the cherry blossoms were in perfect bloom. Some of the sights in the DC are are so big and very hard to do justice in photos, but I tried anyways…
The Washington Monument

The Lincoln Memorial

This is one of the art galleries…if you look close, you can see Eli towards the bottom of the steps

the cherry blossoms and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial

more cherry blossoms–I found it very hard to take photos of these to show how beautiful they were.

and Arlington Cemetary. I could of stayed and taken a million photos there. It was just so peaceful and beautiful

of course, we did a ton more things but these are some of my photo highlights.
I have a session tomorrow and session on Thursday and then…on Friday and Saturday I have 23 BUNNY photos…oh my, I guess I will be hoppin’
Anyways, I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
